Then you will currently a) Pay a premium price or b) Wait like everyone else.

It is a waiting game right now. I haven't been charged, so I am keeping my pre-order just in case something comes in, but if I find something else, I will snag it. TigerDirect is back ordered. Fry's and Microcenter are out of stock, but I did read that both locations had some monitors in their retail stores... which are now sold out. Amazon doesn't have in stock, but has one seller taking pre-orders for shipment on 10/4/14 for $893.

If you (or anyone here at TPG) can find it in stock and under $800, I will pay you a $25 finders fee through paypal or Bitcoin.

It's obvious they are using scarcity to justify the price so they can pay the r&d bills. I can't wait until Quakecon next year for you to show it off to every puny noob who thought they had a good monitor or those obnoxious people with huge TV's.

Maybe I'll try. When you were waiting on your 690s straight from EVGA, I decided to get one, hoped online to see how long the backorders were, and found one at $1k on Amazon. Maybe I can have the same luck again.

Given what you're getting with the monitor, I think the default price is actually really good.

If you're going to get it, you might as well keep your order with BLT. $780 with free s/h. That's the lowest price, right now.

(Yes, I looked around caused I wanted that finder's fee. )

In store pickup only. I have seen both FRYS and MicroCenter have them in stock for the past week, but you can't order to ship.
