Building a new rig

I've owned 4 (I think) ATi cards...I won't be buying another. Hell, if I had it to do over again, my current card wouldn't be an ATi. As Heavy said, driver support is lacking. I'm still using a driver from 12/18/2013

Also, as been said ..TV's aren't PC monitors.

I read that the other day. My opinion is it was done by someone who is a fan of the current battlefield set ups. He's complaining about not having a bunch of upgrade and kits. If anything it seems to fall closer in line with bf2 that way. I take that article as a good sign.

You're right tv's aren't pc monitors. The 4k's have more resolution then monitors do. They just seem to have a lag time. They do appear to be getting closer and closer to being interchangable pieces though.

Pretty sure we had some battle field games released that way as well. One thing they seem to love to do is put patches out.

What good is more res if the input lag kills it for you? TV's aren't for PC gaming, monitors are.

Its milliseconds. Its not like your in limbo for an hour. Its barely more lag the the difference in speed from one windows program to the new exciting version. Besides most of you need every helping hand you can get if i jump back into gaming.

Those milliseconds matter...4K means nothing if you've got ghosting and lag all over the place.

No, you're getting seduced by buzzwords like 4K, thinking that means better..lol. It doesn't. I gave Heavy a lot of shit when he bought that Asus ROG monitor...if you told me I had to chose that or a TV for PC gaming....I'd choose the ROG every day of the week and 3 times on Sunday.
