Wait, are you excited about "ls"? That's been available in Powershell for a while. I thought you meant they pushed the Ubuntu thing out from beta.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Not "ls" specifically - I suppose it has been around a while. I've used Cygwin for everything command line that I've done on my work machine that has needed a nix command line. Is the bash on Ubuntu on Win10 stuff officially out of beta yet? There's a handful of steps needed to get it all running in the windows terminal if I'm not mistaken.
At my work we have some production redhat servers, a redhat dev server, and some embedded linux boxes with debian so I can usually remote into one of them if I need something, but for my schoolwork and some other small stuff Cygwin has been enough. Hopefully I can ditch that soon though

Nah, you've got to do the preview build and then go into the beta for the Ubuntu features.
I wonder exactly how something that normally needs root will work. Will running as an administrator do the trick? I almost can't wait to find out, but I'm too keen on using a beta OS right now.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
