i thnk im gonna build a whole new rig piece by peice stretch it out over a few months dunno yet maybe just a new vid card

Like everyone else said, your cpu is fine. I always refer to tomshardware gaming cpu hiearchy chart.

Your cpu is in the top tier.

Look at tomshardware gpu hierarchy your gpu is 3 or 4 tiers below the top tiers.

I would go for the gpu upgrade or keep saving for a complete upgrade.

Find some software to monitor and record usage and temps. Give you a better idea of whats going on.

Yeah I'm still on the fence it would be nice to have a new machine and a back up machine and all I play right now is overwatch and nothing I see in the near future worth buying/ playing. I guess its a what I want vs what I need decision

Seriously.. the graphic card wars are in full swing. AMD has conceded the high end market to NVIDIA thinking they could keep the mid-market, but NVIDIA has decided they want that too..

Whatever you end up buying will be a awesome upgrade for you as those two duke it out.

I would recommend waiting until the over-voltage issue on the AMD 480 is resolved if that is the route you want to go. I think they released new drivers to fix that this week.
