...just ain't coming. We had the initial boom, but too few people are joining up. The sad truth is this forum isn't like GF- they had the gamingfiles to lure people to the forums. That's how I came there.

Nearly all our members are ex-GFs. We need a suitable lure or solution, or this forum will be made up of just a few-dozen regulars.

You make a fair point and I never expected this place to keep growing at the rate it started. There was an initial boom and things have slowed. That is the nature of things; especially things which are "just" a forum.

True, we don't have games sites to lure people in, but then we don't have 6 years of history or FileFront's web-presence either.

If you are interested in getting new members here then you need to get out there and make the place known. Tell your friends, advertise us on your MySpace or other sites or whatever.

I am working on a few things to get additional members, such as hosting clan forums here (see the announcement) and also a CMS package to run along side the forums and attract traffic.

I'm not just giving up. Are you??

I dont think u would like to file host, azh. Maybe if we have like the best advice giving team like Katie and Jill i dont know. Just an idea.

This deceleration was foreseeable, and there were nothing we could do to prevent it, because the registration rate was incredibly high at start. I think the registration rate is a thing, but regular members rate is an other one, and actually a good one. We stand near 80% of activity level, and the amount of posts per day is quite honourable for a young forum.

I think we are doing quite good. Look at GF. There aren't that many active members.
Members: 153,698, Active Members: 4,860

And at least half of those post only in the games area.
We are doing quite good.
