Heres a Review from hardwarelogic.com

They recommend removing your motherboard, so it sounds like you might be able to get it installed with your mo-bo in place...

You lazy bastard. You will probably have to take the mobo out in order to get the old chipset cooler off the mobo. There should be two mushroom shaped plastic pins w/ springs that secure the original cooler to the board.

Don't you think that that cooler is a little over the top, or is it that you overclock you computer to the point that you could fry an egg over it?

Gore , that fan has 2 bars that slide when loosend to move in position and align other bolts that you will probrably have to replace on your mobo and tighten down from those; the same setup as my vid card water cooler block so You probrably have to take off the mobo. Just watch out as that is when my cpu procc. came out with my old heatsink and now I'm waiting on my new mobo which actually is a blessing cause now I will be running with a 3.4 instead of 2.4 . Let us know how it goes my fan {link below} has several different brackets to accomodate different mobo's. So your'es might also but it may be just the 2 arm type brackets I mentioned earlier. Later AD :4

Oh yeah that was a brainfart. Of course I have to take the mobo out in order to take the old cooler out. D'oh!

No I haven't overclocked anything, it's just that the cooler I have now don't fit properly. I hope this one will.
