Money DO NOT GO RETAIL.Bigdog can build you one with an interest rate of the actual price, like %10. But even then it will still be cheaper and more bang for your buck.

And if you really want to experience the hair-tearing experience that is assembling your very own personalized computer from scratch for the first time, newegg.com is the generally accepted standard for pricing on individual parts in the US. Like people have mentioned, bigdog can do it for you, but if you feel the desire to put it together yourself, I'm sure plenty of people on the forums could help you out in choosing parts.

How much are you looking to spend? Are there any parts you wish to carry over like your monitor?
