New and Improved Steam

I always thought steam kinda sucked. but when I found out about this I was quite surprised.

I only found out yesterday that there was a Steam Beta in progress that Incorporates a lot of new features that we normally have to use third-parties for(i.e. XFire). Its also a slap in the face to the GFW Live service because it does all that it can do, AND its FREE!

Some of the features I can think of off the top of my head are: Group(Clan) support, Calendars, Event Notification, Friend Status updates, Support for ANY game even if its not downloadable on steam, Voice chat support, and much more!

Just posting this to make sure everyone knows about this. I have only heard good things about this so far and have only started to dive into all of the features. This sounds like a must download for clans.

You can get the beta by going to your settings page on steam, and about half-way down there is a beta participation status. Just change your status to participating and your set.

That's impossible...steam developers can never make steam improved....b/c they suck..i wonder if they teamed up with the idea guys from css...hmm

but i think it would be better if you played through the whole thing all at once as the survivors or infected you would get your fix of both. plus it wouldnt be as annoying when your the survivors an win which makes you the survivors again. what do you guys think?

well the only problem is that not everyone can just take 5 to 6 hour chunks out of their day.
otherwise they would probably make it that way
however they could make a seperate game mode where you do this
