    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    wow easy question , hit printscreen which is usually located in the upper right side of keyboard layouts. now open up PAINT which is on 99% of every Windows based PC . select new in the tabs to the left. Now then put your mousecurser over the white box (which is where the picture is being sent to) hold down left-control and key v(which is the shortcut for paste ) a image of your desktop should now be visible . If it worked save that picture as JPEG , and there it is..

    For best results use ADOBE photoshop if you have that and select it for your program instead of paint. :2

    Question regarding Screenshots
    #4

    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    This is helpful for me as well - thanks

    If you want to take multiple screenshots from within BF2, does this mean you have to save each one as they are taken, before you can take the next one. I seem to recall seeing somewhere, that BF2 has a way of taking and saving screenshots automatically within the BF2 directory in "your documents". Am I dreaming, or is there such a feature from within BF2

    Thanks
    Bryn

    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    The BF2 screen capture key is usually bound to the printscreen key, which then dumps screenshots in whatever folder is uses... I forget at the moment. One other useful thing about prinstscreening is holding the Alt key will take a screenshot of whatever window you have open (in the usual Windows desktop environment).

    Guys,

    I know many people use xfire, which is cool because you can take as many in-game screenies as you want, then when you quit the game you can label and upload them for easy sharing.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    I do not know how to post a screen shot on this site. Everytime I hit the "Insert image" button it just gives me this

    [img][/img]

    When I try to ctrl V and paste nothing happens.

    Is there a step by step guide somewhere on here? I also try searching the forums and couldn't find much. And the help button does not help either.

    Thanks
    Jeep

    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    The only way I know how to post images is to upload the image to a site like photobucket and then paste the URL of the image between what comes up when you hit the INSERT IMAGE button
    - sort of like this {img}...url...{img}

    below image is just me testing my theory

    Re: Question regarding Screenshots

    That's pretty hard to understand there Civil.

    All you have to do is place:

    {img} {/img}

    in between your image URL, simple.

    Except use "[" instead of "{".
