Upcoming AMD graphics cards, 2900pro & GT and the 2950s!
Via techreport.com:
AMD launches the $249 Radeon HD 2900 Pro
by Cyril Kowaliski — 11:13 AM on September 25, 2007
After two of its partners broke the news prematurely, AMD has finally given the Radeon HD 2900 Pro an official introduction. The card is launching in 1GB and 512MB variants, which both feature 320 stream processors and a 512-bit memory bus. The 512MB model is clocked at 600MHz with 800MHz GDDR3 memory, and an AMD spokeswoman tells us the 1GB variant runs at 742MHz with 800MHz GDDR4 RAM.
For reference, AMD's Radeon HD 2900 XT is clocked at 742MHz and has 512MB of 825MHz DDR3, with the same 320 stream processor count and 512-bit memory bus width. The Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB, meanwhile, has 1GB of 1000MHz GDDR4 memory.
AMD says the new Radeon HD 2900 Pro 512MB is launching at $249, and that the 1GB flavor is rolling out at a pricier $299. Of course, even $299 is considerably cheaper than even the most affordable Radeon HD 2900 XT listed on our price search engine, which still costs $383.99.
We will see new cards in October and the newer generation r670 55nm cards in November!
Lets hope for great things from these cards!

I've officially become ATI>NVIDIA I need that card $30 more than an 88000 GTS baby, sometimes it pays to wait.

They are dropping a 2900GT here as well:
ATI Radeon HD 2900 GT launched
Posted by Hanners on Mon, 01 Oct 2007 at 18:11:09 After last week's launch of the limited edition Radeon HD 2900 PRO, today sees Radeon HD 2900 GT parts hit store shelves.
This particular SKU comes in at an even lower price point than the PRO-monikered board on account of its lower specifications, featuring a cut down version of ATI's flagship R600 core with one SIMD array disabled, giving the core a total of 240 Stream Processors compared to the 320 available to a full R600 core. While it hasn't been noted in the press releases I've seen thus far, it also seems likely that the disabling of one of the SIMD arrays also coincides with the core having one ROP and one texturing unit disabled, leaving the Radeon HD 2900 GT with three of each. The memory bus available to this SKU is also halved, from the 512-bit of a full R600 core down to 256-bit (while retaining the ring-bus memory controller) here.
That aside, the Radeon HD 2900 GT retains the full feature set of its bigger brothers, whilst sporting clock speeds of 600MHz on the core and 256MB of 800MHz GDDR3 (giving an effective memory clock speed of 1.6GHz). As per the Radeon HD 2900 PRO, this is likely to be rather a limited edition SKU, considering the likelihood that the R600 core which powers it is now at the end of its life, with parts such as this mainly designed to help clear excess inventory of chips.
Quoting unnamed sources at graphics cards manufacturers, DigiTimes says Radeon HD 2950 Pro graphics cards bearing RV670 GPUs will roll out on November 19. The cards will be available in two variants, code-named Revival and Gladiator. The former will boast a 750MHz core clock speed, 900MHz memory clock, and either 256MB or 512MB of GDDR3 memory. Gladiator, meanwhile, will run at 825MHz and be outfitted with 512MB of speedy GDDR4 memory clocked at 1200MHz.
As other sources have reported, DigiTimes says the RV670 chip will have 320 stream processors, DirectX 10.1 support, and PCI Express 2.0 compatibility.
