well, i finally got my new computer parts ordered last night. here is my old confg:

cables, cheap case, and extras including dvd burner bring the total to................. $591.10 with shipping. not too bad. i can't wait to see wait this mother is capable of. no more lag for me!!!!

Of course, the system will default to the highest possible settings, which may even increase load times. But that system looks pretty awesome Mouf.

i'm so freaking stoked. just upgrading to a sata hard drive in my current system decreased my map load time dramatically. this new baby is gonna be the shit. and ranger, you best be watching out for me. the days of me missing shots cause my screen is shaking are no more!!!! nebahaha!!! :4

lol. we'll see. all i know is going from a single core to a dual core, 2 gigs instead of 1gig and a geforce 8600 instead of a x800gto has got to make one hell of an improvement. time will tell. so will my stats....and my favorite victim might just be ranger10....pwned.

Sweet man!! Were you having that sick to your stomach feeling because you spent almost $600 on a toy that you didnt really need?

If not, then good for you. When I ordered my parts last week, I felt like shit. I knew that that money could be "better spent" elsewhere, but that I wouldnt have as much fun.
