    yup.

And for the record, I don't know where you [edit] bigdog [/edit] came up with a 19" monitor. I have a Samsung 22" widescreen 226BW running at 1600x1000

I forgot to mention... I am certain that off-MB sound cards smoke but I am REAL happy with the RealTek HD onboard 7.1 audio.

The sound quality is great and the interface is easy to use... as far as I'm concerned, that fits the bill perfectly.

Now, both of those are subjective measures but if I was looking to help someone shave a few bucks off the final bill I'd definitely point in this direction.

Odds are you wouldnt notice a difference in the sound between and XtremeGamer and the onboard audio on that Abit board. The big difference is with high quality audio. The onboard audio is processed through your CPU, which depending on the game, could impact your overall FPS and gaming experience.

Nice 3DMark score, by the way. You are almost close to mine...

I can certainly see a need to alleviate some CPU load in the future... BUT, when is an upgrade NOT on the horizon? For me, the delayed Sound upgrade works out. Plus, think of how much my 3dmark score will go up in the not so distant future.

You just had to go there. Well, I just have to let that slide for a little while...... Although, I do have a Zalman that I could scavenge from the ol' rig and then..............

    Weapon Preferences

So after most people have played the demo, what do you guys think?

What are your guys preferred weapons as of now? And are there any weapons that caught you off guard?

Personally, the G3 "Sniper Rifle" really surprised me. I didn't suspect it to be as useful as it was. With the tightened cross hair, it makes it a lot more effective in my opinion.

So that really pleased me. They also did the same with the Hunting Rifle, tightening the crosshairs.

I also enjoyed the other T1 silenced Mac 11 or whatever it is.

    What about everyone else?

Loved the SCAR, I think it could be the new weapon if choice for most people.

Reload times and capacity seem much more balanced now. Both handguns felt and sounded powerful but didnt seem very powerful.

It's gotta be the SCAR for me. It delivers one hell of a kick to the hordes in a short burst of three bullets. It's pretty useful for taking down the Charger as well.
    Whilst playing Penumbra...

    Parlock: I CAN HEAR IT.
    Dead Prodigy: HIDE.
    Parlock: I AM.
Dead Prodigy: DON'T LET IT SMELL YOUR FEAR.
Parlock: IT DOESN'T NEED TO SMELL MY FEAR, I SHAT MYSELF.

Simply just love all of the new melee weapons. Especially the machete.

    AK for me.

The new sniper seems stupid OP, I've stopped picking it up because it's too easy.
