Is this good RAM?

Newegg is having a one day sale. After discounts and rebates it ends up being 40.99. I am building a new system, and wanted to know if this would be a good addition.

I was also thinking about getting this power supply from them. It is 600 Watt, and would be $59.99 after rebates with free shipping.

That's actually pretty high-end ram, although not the fastest you can get any more. For the price, I'd say go for it. And ditto for the power supply - OCZ makes good stuff, and as long as you don't need more than 600W, that looks like a good choice.

Thanks Iron. I have PMed Mury about the system I am putting together, and before I only had a 500 Watt, so I am actually stepping up for less money. I am not building some blow your doors off machine, but here is what I am looking at to help others with their answer.

I ordered the Thermaltake case Hub posted, and now the Ram and power supply in the first post. All for about $700.

Just for reference here are the Ram and power supply I had planned on getting. Both are more expensive than the OCZ stuff I am asking about.

OCZ Reaper is great memory. I have the exact model you are referencing. It is stable and highly overclockable. I am running my 800MHz memory at 1016MHz.

For $55, you cant really go wrong here...

Nice pickup Civil , thats good stuff. Besides that it didnt seem like newegg had too much to off that was eye dropping. Kinda bummed, but then again im not because well i didnt buy anything haha.
