Gadgets and Widgets
I'm thinking about trying to create a widget (Vista) and a Gadget (Google Desktop) for the GameTracker server stats for TTP. Has anyone written any of these? I've just started looking into them and was curious to know if someone might have some experience with this or some helpful hints.
Thanks

Re: Gadgets and Widgets
Well if you know how to code there are several places http://microsoftgadgets.com/Sidebar/...tOverview.aspx that show you how to do it or you can try some "readymade" packages. Note I have not used them so don't blame me

Re: Gadgets and Widgets
Is this what you were looking for. I did this using http://www.amnestywidgets.com/GeneratorWin.html. Now I can see all the TTP servers on my desktop and see the status for each server, the number of players, the map, etc. and it's clickable to take me straight into the gametracker site for that particular server.

You can create a gadget for your Google homepage with the server monito, but I have not checked to see if it works on Google desktop because I do not use it. Simply go to your Google home page, click on add stuff, click on "try now" under create your own gadget. Choose framed photo, and copy just the image text from the GameTracker site. Once you have created it you will see it on your Google homepage, and I will see if I can figure out if it works on Google desktop sometime soon. Hope this helps.

Conspiracys and farces
Now I find myself as a perceptual person, never thinking things are as black and white as they could seem and never claiming something to be right or wrong. I simply believe that things are more or less plausable than the last but sometimes I find some conspiracy theories to be simply beautiful in the way they are both constructed and argued.
But recently ive found a wonderful website Truthism.com - Your #1 Source for the Truth which has simply made me smile from start to finish.
Post evidence of your favorite or known conspiracy theories, then discuss!
www.truthism.com
The thing I find amazing about Truthism is how every aspect has a very wide opinion on mentality and acceptance leaving only very open minded invididuals to accept his point of view but he is completely closed minded on the truth and possible arguments against his evidence and statements.
That and everything he says is plausable, obviously varying with what he says and when using the term rather vaugely.
For example
"In order to grasp the truth, you must use your free will and freedom of thought. Do not let your mind get trapped within the religious or scientific paradigms."
