Re: Hard Drive Stuff!!!
Like McStrange said, Windows will not care about multiple Windows installed on multiple disks.
The BIOS boot order setting is what cares. Just make sure your BIOS boot order is set to boot from your Raptor instead of your old drive, and the new Windows install will be the one that boots (and the new Windows won't care about the old Windows).
FYI that whole "mark a disk as active" step won't matter if you do a fresh Windows install on the new drive. The windows installer will mark the appropriate partition as active. However, even with the installer doing this, you'll still need to make sure your BIOS chooses to boot from the new drive first.
EDIT:
Your BIOS might already give preference to SATA over PATA drives, and if that's the case you won't have to tweak your BIOS. You may want to just try booting anyway after installing Windows on the new drive to see what it does. If it boots the new Windows, no tweaking necessary. If it boots the old Windows, then edit your BIOS settings. (If you don't know how to tweak your BIOS boot order, just say so and we'll go over that too)

Left 4 Dead 3: Salvation (My Left 4 Dead pitch)
The third chapter in the Left 4 Dead franchise Salvation, as its names suggests, offers salvation from the infection.
The game will follow both sets of the survivors in the final days before they find their own salvation. Francis, Louise, and Zoey find their salvation in arctic climate of Canada while Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle find theirs off the shores of the Golf Coast.
For Campaign Mode players can choose which set of survivors they want to follow to salvation. Each set of survivors has four all new playable maps with new zombies and weapons!
In Survival Mode you can choose any four of the eight survivors in any of the eight maps plus two special survival only maps!
Verses Mode is playable on all maps with any combination of survivors. The seven special infected are also playable with two new special infected along with the Witch!!!
What else is new:
• Map Editor! Control everything about your apocalypse from the time of day, and weather. Players will also be able to control where health packs, weapons, and other items are located or if you even want them at all!
• Un-lockable gaming content. The more you play the more you can unlock to customize playing modes. Turn on and off head shots only for killing infected, or select only to survive against special infected! The more you play the more you can unlock and do.
• A new survivor that Francis, Louise, and Zoey run into (A 15 year old boy that spent his childhood playing zombie video games).
• New functions for the jockey (He grabs your legs and slows you down before knocking you to the ground and then claws you like a hunter throwing out items that you have).
Is this pitch perfect? No, but I think it would make a good game and would make for a proper ending for the series.

This would be pretty interesting, Maybe just to spice stuff up, the new L4D1 survivor could be Bills' Grand kid, or maybe Louis' son? or possibly Ellis' Bro.
"Map editor" as you would put it is a Need, I couldn't even count how many times that has been said.
Giving new campaigns and scenarios for both Survivor group would be interesting, i think the community would like it more (we all know how much people got mad over hearing about there being new survivors). Just one thing i could see is, people raging over "how it could be DLC" but those people can suck it.
DLC for this game could also include NONcanon, which would let you choose survivor from the 8 (maybe even Bill) and possibly some 5V5 or 6V6 maps.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yeah people get mad about new survivors, but if the original survivors come back there does need to be a new addition because three would not do... I think the younger boy would make a great addition to the survivors because it adds a different aspect to the game.
I agree with you that some people would complain about how there could be no DLCs, but if the game is truly done right there is so much people can do with the maps to keep it new where DLCs arnt really needed.

I like all of those ideas, but I agree about the extra character.
Bill is currently dead, and he can't come back to life unless the defib decides to work on him.
So maybe they can find a younger character like Bill's grandchild as a sort of replacement for Bill. It can also be a good story element, for the new character to deal with the death of his grandfather and the zombie apocalypse. Also the other survivors could feel bad for them but he could resent them for it, and create some needed drama.

Kagato, I have to say I am pleased to hear that you like this and when I saw you posted I thought you would have bashed everything cause that is all I see you do lol.
Yeah I have to say the Gulf Coast was stupid on my part lol. My brain wasn't working haha and I couldn't think of anything for surviving in the south. As for my saying Canada was because in all the old zombie movies and books the cold kills the virus therefore being no zombies. I thought that would have been a nice subtle reference that valve could add to the game along with all the others. I Hate Mountains is also another reason I said Canada. I just want that level on the 360 being it in a DLC for the game now or in a new one... Another cool level idea that I want to see on the 360 is Dam It. I have only seen the levels on YouTube of coarse so I cannot say if they are as good as they look.
Most people probably would not like the young survivor, but I was just thinking how one could be added to go with the original 3 and generally speaking be accepted and add to their obvious greatness.

That is very true, Zoey is actually a lot like the zombie-obsessed character. Her bio states that she spent a good deal of time watching horror movies. Valve could have exploited that trait further than her occasional movie reference.
I'm thinking of a character that is either exactly like Bill (Wise, sarcastic, has experience with zombies) to please fans who liked him. Or it could be the exact oppisite, maybe even a female character?
