Dang, that thing must have been pretty pricey in US dollars. My rig is a real budget rig: 180GB HD (not SATA), *8600GTS ($250), E6550 Core 2 Duo ($350, this is with the Mobo), 4 gig DDR2 RAM ($100), cheap mousepad, 3G Razer Diamondback ($30), standard microsoft keyboard, Cooler Master case (the thing stays ice cold, $100).
Total: $830
Real budget rig, it really REALLY pales in comparison to your new rig.
*For some reason, I can get these on newegg for $150 now, too bad I can't just move up to the 8800GT."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

Great Job on the sound card..... I have the XFI-platinum and have had it for two years this past September. It's been one of the best investments I have ever bought. My friends and I recorded MUCH music though this card. We played MANY games as well.
You might want to look into PCIE cards though, as I think the XFI-Platinum fatality is still PCI (old technology).
Good luck Trigger, this transformation will make you even more dangerous. HOLY SHIT!
