that's a pretty kewl deal...$20-30 less than elsewhere if you are willing to do the MIR thing. I use the G15 and love it.

Now they need to start coming out with cool "natural" style keyboards that have the back lighting / gamers enhancements.

Right now I'm using a Saitek Eclipse II - I love the glow, but I miss my natural keyboard, and will be switching back in the near future. Tired of my wrists hurting.

I too have and love this keyboard.... The blue lights on the keys are nice... make sure and download the BF2 mod for the LCD screen. shows your in-game stats, etc.

word of warning this is the G15 V2, it is orange and it only has 6 programable macro keys(unlike the 18 of V1). I do not really have a need for more than the 6 keys hell I use only 4, 1 for my user name JBMCW2010 and 3 for 3 of the different forums here at TTP. and I have another 14 to use on that one of 3 settings. Though when playing RTS es I use them extensively to select units/buildings etc.

another thing is the G15 V2 does not have the pivot LCD like the V1. It is stationary.

wow, great reporting JB, Imust then have the G15 V1, with blue keys, 16 programable keys, and tiltable LCD. I didn't even know there was a V2.

I build computers for friends. I use the G15 V1, I just bought this actual G15 V2 at circuit city for a buddy who I am building his rig this friday.

I think the black and orange look bad ass. However the blue goes well with my Sonatta II case and the Blue Razer Copper head mouse I use. Oh and the blue volume wheel on my speakers. I like blue what can I say...

The names for both are as follows

G15 Gaming Keyboard
18 programmable key with tilt LCD and blue lighting (there are actually two or more batches of these. the first had paint issues and the paint would wear off - call on warrenty if you have this one)

G15 Keyboard
6 programmable keys with fixed LCD and orange lighting. I think they redid the LCD to reduce cost and breakage. They took the extra two columns of programmable keys because people "supposedly" didn't need them or the extra space they took.

Download LCD Studio. It's very programmable, free and greatly increases the usefulness of the LCD screen imo.
