Should I go vista??

I know there have been threads already on this topic but i want updated answers to my own thread. I have a copy of Vitsa Home Premium 64bit.

I plan on installing vista on a clean partition, not upgrading. SHOULD I DO IT

I don't have a problem with it. I use Vista at home and at work, no issues whatsoever.

I use the 32-bit version, but as long as the 64-bit drivers are WHQL'd and ready to rock, you should be good.

do you run into any problems with audio or game playing ability?

Nope. I play everything on it, works great for me.

Really, the biggest problem that Vista has was a serious lack of proper driver support from the 3rd Party Manufacturers. That problem is long since past for the most part.

The driver issue is a moot point a year after release. If there aren't drivers for some old piece of hardware you have... there may never be any. I've found drivers for all my hardware and everything runs flawlessly.

With your gear, not sure you'd benefit from running Vista, but if nothing else you can dual boot Vista & XP and give it a try first before making the leap.
