maybe with a different driver i can achieve 13500. i mean if you are getting close to 14k and your card is a bit better than mine i should be able to get more than 13.1k.

run the lights mark bench with threaded optimization off not 3dmark06 .

ah, and do you recommend leaving this threaded optimization off all the time or just while running the light benchie? i assume that i should just leave it off. when i get home ill run the correct benchie.

Not too shabby.
When it cranked into that pneumobic shadow mode (or whatever it's called) and my FPS dropped to 80, I was worried - but I made it through with a respectable number.

Stock everything, not overclocked.

Plus an 8800 GTS 320.

so the threaded optimization made zero difference. this is probably due to it always being set on auto. i turned it to off and same score leading me to believe that the auto disabled it when i ran it the first time.

Ahh my mistake.. I got the lightsmark benchie confuzzled with this one
