After reading the AnandTech review article, almost all of the benchmarks dealing with things that most computer users will find themselves doing (including gaming) show no real benefit to the Skulltrail platform. Where this chip/mobo REALLY shine is for people who will be doing heavy development/rendering work in highly multi-threaded applications (e.g. 3dsMax, POV-Ray, Cinebench, Source dev) or heavy compute tasks (e.g. Excel Monte Carlo simulations, etc.). Gamers, stick to your dual/quad Core2Duo with DDR2/3 RAM as the FB-DIMM required by this board increases the latency to the point of negating most of the benefits provided by the CPU itself.
