Re: Connection issues
So.... did the cable guy put his hands on your machine? or was he just focus on the cable and modem? Serious guestion, no puns intenended.
If he didn't touch the machine, then your problem is not with the machine....!
Try power cycling everything down.
First, turn everything off, computer, router, modem. Have a beer for about a minute.... then, power on the MODEM, wait about a minute, then power on the ROUTER... wait about another minute, then power on the computer.
These are the initial steps that the cable company would have you do, it you were to call for support.
But you stopped here at TTP first, smart.

Re: Connection issues
Well I did have the cable guys coem out last night and it was a REAL cable guy (outside kind not unplug shit kind) He said that my levels ( ?? ) were off (he fixed that part) and he was going to have another guy come out tomorrow (today) and check the main box down the road. So there was an issue with the wiring coming from outside in . Still can't play though.. Anyone have spysweeper. I have it which I love but I just got it and was wondering if that could be an issue, mind you this was happening before i got it though.
