Swapped my E6850 @ 3.6GHz for an E8400 @ 4.2GHz. 40% overclock... on air! Not an i7, but it was worth the $20 I had to spend to get it...

Edit: This is also a stable overclock. I ran Prime95 for over an hour with no issues and tested 3 games (Wolfenstein, Crysis, and DOD) without any issues thus far. I can probably push it a bit farther, but 4.2 is fine with me.

Same issue here. 3 HDD's in RAID0 and I can't get above 6.2.

Just ran 3DMark Vantage with the new GPU & CPU combo, all at stock speeds.

3DMarks: P14371 3DMarks
CPU Score: 10738
GPU Score: 16197

Going to start working with AMD Overdrive here soon to see if we can't ramp these scores up a bit.
