No Sound Driver Avail...WTF

This message popped up on me ..

TDSoundOut.Open(DirectSoundCreate): No Sound Driver is acailable for use.

WTF... I just took my computer to get it Cleaned out as in files and temp stuff and now I get this .. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Download the sound drivers? Just a guess, but others might know better.

Download updated drivers for whatever sound card you're using, and reinstall them. That generally fixes most issues like this.

Well DUH!!! I did that and it still says the same thing ..Is there another way to check if its working properly :P

What sound card do you have?

What OS do you use? You can check in the device manager to see whether the card's installed properly and all that.

Dusty try a system restore point prior to any issues you started experiencing. This worked for me.

First! That error message means that TeamSpeak couldn't hook onto your sound card drivers properly. This is entirely and utterly the fault of... TeamSpeak! (Assuming that your sound is otherwise in working order)

Second! The recommended fix is to go to Settings->Options, and then on the Sound Devices tab, change from DirectSound to Wave (and then back again). You can also try changing the output device in the lower lists if more than one appears.

Is this in the TS settings after log in or are you talking about my main pc settings?
