    I don't anymore. I used to,but when I first got my 4890s,I did the "Unlock" and had them autotune themselves. When the next set of drivers came out,I uninstalled everything (as I usually did) and it killed all of the settings when CCC got erased. Since then,I have just been installing the new ones without uninstalling the old.....and have had absolutely no problems,what-so-ever.....and ALL of your settings will be saved. I'm thinking they have made the driver-dance a bit more user-friendly than it used to be....for the most part,anyway.

    Maybe if there was a installation or driver error I would un-install.

    They used to, I would sign my email up all the time (they used to have an option for getting a newsletter for new drivers) expecting to get an email from NVidia telling me there are new drivers, but they never send it.

    Also, gonna merge this with the proper thread.
