Re: Q6600 for $199
I think what jason meant was, people say that "Yeah the nvidia 893348 just came out, but im going to wait until a price drop".....3 months later the prices drops by 50%. Same guy now says "Im not going to invest in the nvidia 8993348 because the new 945532's are coming out in 4 months. Now I dont know who jason was referring to personally and Im certainly not mocking anyone, but I believe thats what he meant. If you take the approach I listed above, in theory you will be waiting forever.

How did you misinterpret that into me crapping on the great deal of a Q6600 for 199 bucks?
My post was explicitly to Veovis, in regards to his question about the E6400 he already runs versus the very good deal you posted for a Q6600.
if I were building a new system right now (or recommending parts for a new build or pre core 2 upgrade to core 2) I would be like: "Damn, a Q6600 for 199? of course you should get it!"
Sorry if that was not understood. YES THIS IS A GREAT DEAL. Veovis, you dont need it yet.

difference between the HH80562PH0568M (b3) and BX80562Q6600(G0)
Good post,,, I was wondering the same. So what I have gathered here is this,
Q6600 OEM vs Retail,
Difference = OEM no heat sink & fan / 1 year warranty
Retail has fan & heatsink / 3yr warranty
