That's interesting in concept, but (and this is a big butt) I doubt that the heat from the processor would be enough to cause enough expansion in the air to do anything serious. That model, for instance probably, isn't relying on the thermal components of the modeling system (if it even has that, I believe only Solid Works and NX 5.0 have that; I use NX 5.0 btw). More than likely, they're animating that assembly artificially using the modeling engine, which just allows for pieces of an assembly to move as their degrees of freedom allow. This is a nice demo meant to impress investors and managers, but I'd like to see a working one in real life.
