3DMark06 results with new vid card

Most of you know I just purchased a EVGA 8800GT 512 G92 vid card. Well I just ran 3dMark06 and I'm impressed. I thought I would do better then 9309 but I was watching my resources and I think I'm being limited by my CPU. I'll try and oc it but I would like some input on what you think. My old results with my 7800's in sli are in my profile on the left side. Thanks!

yeah, you are definitely being limited by your CPU which is in turn being limited by your socket 939 Mobo and that also means you are using DDR RAM which is another limiter.

So to break 10k without OCing you need to upgrade CPU, Mobo, and RAM (all at once).  you might find a deal like the one I gave Deus for a nice socket 939 CPU.  But really in the end, 9k+ means you can play all the games and almost all them turned up all the way.

    EDIT: Meant to say...

I OC'd my old ass GTS 640 just a bit over the new G92 core...You should be able to get over 10K in 3Dmark...

9300 is plenty enough for now. You should be able to pump up your quality setting for anything TTP currently hosts and you can look forward to the numbers going up once you can upgrade!
