PROS: The core2 quad...but they have it listed as a Q6600 @ 2.66..WRONG its 2.4...(false advertising)
The case looks nice, good keyboard and mouse setup (RAZER IS BETTER)
Good that there is a raptor on the list. DAmn fine ram too.
I run vista home permium 64bit as well and it runs like glass greased with butter.
Cons: Zotac sux my balls, they are the Pontiacs of graphics cards...get the EVGA 8800gt, same price.
WHO THE FUCK IS ASROCK? Would you use an sli board from .....ASROCK
That mobo is $100. Downgrade power supply for better mobo.
That keyboard is overkill.
All in all i would NEVER buy this........$2200I could build a monster of a machine that would totally annihilate that box hands down. This is why the BigDog boxes thread exists. And this is also why we have PC hardware forums, to avoid wasting money on pre built boxes......screw tech support, thats what we're here for!!!!!! And we dont charge!!! for now................ 8)
Its a nice rig......but for 2200, could be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nicer.
good find though.....
.....god ive turned into such a gear snob...........
edit: .....im not doing shit aat work right now...ill build a rig on directron.com...be back in a few.

Any 'bang for the buck' article that includes "2X Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10,000RPM in RAID 0" is complete and total bullshit
Looks entirely like sponsor pimping to me. You want a good fairly non-biased set of systems for a variety of prices check techreport.com:
http://techreport.com/articles.x/14225
Add your preferred peripherals to this and save lots of money:
Component Item Price
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 $239.99
Motherboard Asus P5N-E SLI $114.99
Memory Mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2-800 $88.99
Graphics XFX GeForce 8800 GT 512MB $239.99
Storage Western Digital Caviar SE16 500GB $104.99
Samsung SH-S203B $29.99
Audio Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer $80.99
Enclosure Antec Sonata III w/500W PSU $129.95
Total Buy this complete system at Newegg $1029.88

Here's the shopping kart that i saved on directron.....i left out the windows OS and dvd drives cuz i figure people have that shit already...granted that directron does not have the best prices on some of the stuff....give or take 300 bucks from the total you see and thats about where it would stand......
This rig smokes the one above and 2270 subtotal..but like i said you'd get it all cheaper if you shopped @ newegg, tigerdirect, and zipzoomfly, and even directron. Order all your parts from those 4 websites and you'll save a shit ton of money......im guessing 1700-1900 subtotal..
oh yeah btw, i color coordinated everything to have blue LED's....count 'em
If you cant view the shopping list from the link below...let me know.....did syrringe do good?
***VIEW THE LISTY LIST***
oh and about the gpu's...PNY is a very well respected brand..they have great service and liftime warranty to orignal owner...they are just like evga.

Can see it, and thats a pretty nice system if your looking to overclock it. If not you could easily save 3 or 4 hundred off of that price.
If your looking at spending 2 grand Consultant Syrringe's system would be a better starting point that that pcmech crap though.
I would skip the razor keyboard and headset, go for 4 gig of ram (which can be had for the same price as the 2 gig in the link), go with the samsung 226bw 22 inch monitor, and the regular old gamerXtreme xfi card.
And my god what is with these freaking 250 dollar motherboard?? Unless your planning on joining the 3dmark epeen overclocking contest no one needs to spend much more than 150 no a mobo.

looks nice, I personally wouldn't go for the headset or keyboard, but that's more of a preference thing. Sound card looks pricey, but then again I've never used one, so maybe it would change my mind.
All in all, nice rig.

A. Not everyone wants to or should be overclocking system. For a normal non-overclocker a 100 dollar motherboard will suit all their needs just fine.
B. I would say skip the razor keyboard and go with the g15, the lcd is cool.
C. Skip the 5.1 headset - I had one and they are bullshit (not the razor). My 35$ sennheiser have better sound quality and nears as good positional sound.
D. The Fatality version of the XFI is a waste of money, it is marginally better than the gamerxtreme but not enough to warrent spending twice as much.
