No projects at work today.

Our hardware guy comes by and says, "hey wanna help me build something?"

Im like fuck yes!!!!! Helped him assemble 5 of these today. Each one of these holds total 1 Terabyte, 4gb of ddr2 800, an intel quad QX9650, has an option for a 2nd one!!!!!!! I dont know where we got this board from but, its legit, i didnt believe it. Beast of a server...this is what all of our new shit is gonna be like...they mare upgrading EVERYTHING....and i just found out as im typing this, imm getting paid $16/hr today for doing this!!!!! The best part was opening the box to the QX9650...i was almost shaking i was so giddy!!

Yeah Braddoc your right...except we gutted them and replaced some components...the owner of the company doesnt like ANYTHING with stock components.

And yes bueller...I wear nice clothes to work, i have to tuck in my shirt, blah blah. Im pretty stoked. this job is 85% goofing off and 15% work. Small multi million dollar company of 25 employees and 3 managers. Im in a good place and damn thankful for it too. No more slingin music gear. I have a career now. :9

If you guys saw the dudes i worked with, youd have a whole new outlook on the word nerd.....appearance wise i dont fit in at all,,,everyone is a big dork, acne, their upper body is way bigger than their lower body, huge glasses, even have the "nerd" voice, while im the pretty boy of the group....this was brought up at our meeting this monday....hahahahahahha....but i came back quickly and said the first thing that came to mind, "All your base are belong to us!!" and they were like "He's one of us!!!!!"
