    Memory OC

Ok, I know this is not an simple question but I've looked all over for the complete settings for my memory that I have. PDC2G3200LLK is the model but it is Patriot memory PC-3200 Low latency (2-3-2-5 @ 2.7v) is what they say it will run. I have two kits of them to total 4gig of ram. I am running a 32bit os so I know I won't get it all but I need some help.

I've tried to do some research on how to over clock the ram and short of just bumping up the FSB that is all i know how to do. I know there are settings to change the timings but there are so many I have no idea where to start or which way to go and how far to go. I just read on one site that one guy was able to do 250 1:1 @ 2.5-3-3-7.

I've been having some instability while playing BF2 and i thought it might be due to my memory. Well I ran Memtest86 v1.70 for about 4 hours(6 complete passes) and decided it wasn't the memory. I recently got a new video card and that removed the possibility that it was the card locking up the computer. My computer will completely freeze up and i have to hit the reset button to reboot. I already tried to reinstall bf2 might try the os next but its so random. Some times it will freeze up after 20 minutes of play and some times it will freeze up after 4 hours of play. Makes for long and hard testing...

But back on topic. I've tried to find some where thats posted the complete timings of my memory so i can start there and then move it but even CPUz doesn't have all the settings. I have a Aus a8n32 sli deluxe mobo and an OPTY 185 cpu. One of my main questions is the famous bandwidth vs latency issue. I don't know what will be better for me. I mostly play games (duhhh), and I want a really responsive computer (hence the low latency). If bumping up the timings will actually be better then running on a divider for the memory the sweet. Please help me.

    Re: Memory OC

I'm having a few issues trying to figure out some other things. While separating the max settings on all my components I seem to have a max fsb of ~253. I've seen posts of many others in the 300+ range. I've got my cpu multi to 6x HTT is running at 506 MHZ per CPUZ (i think it was 2x in the bios) with my bus set at 253. Memory is running at 133 or what ever the lowest setting is. CPUZ reports it being at 126.6MHZ right now. Is there some thing I'm missing on the max FSB setting or is that really my max?

EDIT: Well memtest86 Test#5 failed after about 4 minutes with 2.5-4-4-8 @235Mhz so i'm back to 2.5-3-3-7 @ 230 to see how it does. 2.7v has not changed. How is this? Am I on the right path?

    I use a Mac OSX

And there's a problem with it. When I try to open it on steam it says validating files, then it says "steam servers are too busy" it says that every time i try to open it, is it because i used console cheats or is it an unnatural reason? The only servers I cheated on are My own (single player) Anti Cheat on single player? Is this the reason? Because I didn't know anti cheat was there. Did I break a patch or something? I don't know but I'm sick of it and I want to play

Steam had an update and everything on MAC's are shitty right now, or so I hear from MAC users on my clan's forum.

But your main problem is you are using a mac.

Well I can see that everything sucks, but what about the problem? You didn't really answer any part of it...
