Yeah thats pretty impressive if it smokes 2 gts'. Damn....go ati. Im a loyalist tho. Nvidia is still my baby.

Good shit guch...just go buy a 2nd x2, you know you will eventually.....whats 1gig when you could have 2gigs of gpu memory.

aye very true, i jsut did a search and a e8400 / 8800 gts combo comes out in the 19000+ range

somethings wrong is your only ending up with 11000.

Definitely. I get almost 11k with an Athlon X2 6000+ and a 8800 GT.

ok guys this is a test on just the video cards. Yes i did get a 20k 3d withe 2 8800 and a QX9650. this was a test with for the video cards them selfs. this was standard drivers and no over clocks. just a 3dmark to show the difference.

Please just because a card with two gpu's beats a card with one doesn't mean anything. Have you seen how the 9800 GX2 beats the crap out of the 3870 X2?

i havent seen anything. ive seen a $600 card do 5% more on a few things and way less at many others. no matter how you look at it the 3870x2 beats the fuck out of the 9800x2. i payed $417 for the x2. i also payed $700 for the 2 8800 gts 512. so for a few dollars more i could have gone with 2 x2 and destroyed anything out there. So pls inform me how the nvidia cards are out doing Ati. 2 x2 ati $850 vs 2 nvidia x2 at $1300. Justify that!
