What is the best anti-virus and firewall for what we do?
Gentleman,
Ladies,
I am going to be getting a new fire-wall and anti-virus. What is the best current product out there for use on a high end machine that is compatible for what we do? Weigh in I want some opinions!

Bottom line is, any of the "big name" anti viruses are perfectly fine for anything you are going to run across in normal usage. Even the free versions of the programs is perfectly adequate.
That being said, if you are the kind of person who likes to peer into the darker corners of the internet then you might want something more robust. Like a solid firewall.

Also, get Spybot S & D
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Searc...g=pop.software
It rocks at getting things that antivirus won't touch like tracking cookies and other random malware.
Really just go to download.com and read the reviews there. They are much more in depth then we could ever be here.
