Thread: Windows wont reckongize my joystick.

Well before i reformatted windows, my joystick worked fine. But since I've reformatted, it doesn't notice it. The light on the joystick light up when its plugged in, but windows doesn't notice it.

Its a ST290 Pro from saitek, which is a $20 plug and play joystick.

Mines a Pro, but im not sure what the difference is.

Cecil, Did you try and not plug it in where you usually do? Did you plug it into the front his time?

The front, the back nothing works.

I even updated my motherboard drivers.

Alright, heres the deets. Ive got about 1150 or so gamer points on L4D2, and its one of the only games i want to 100%. Really would like to get together with some cool people who what theyre doin to get some achievements. I can also help some newbies get some. Maybe not all of them legitimately, but you'll get them (NOTE: no hacks, just minors tricks or flaws in the game that you can exploit). Really would like to get Still Something to Prove and the Real Deal. Im not the greatest, but i can handle my own. I always fight through the horde to save a fellow gamer, even if it means i may get downed. Big believer in team work, thats what this game was designed for after all. Preferably with headset, so as to communicate with you, but if not, we'll work something out. I have all DLC (except the sacrifice on L4D1) so im able and willing to help with those. Im on just about everyday, so ill notice it soon. would really like to set things up and just work on gameplay as well, though this isnt a post about a clan.... anyway, ill stop rambling....
