    How much are you looking to spend, what's it going to be used for, and do you have any peripherals that you're happy using with the new system (ie. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, ect.)?

    price doesnt matter all that much everything i have is new other than the cpu its a year old mabye alittle over a year as for use its just games and internet i was considering the new sony or building one but figured you guys are probably alittle more up to date than i am

    Good starting points at various pricing levels. You can build a very strong machine for around 1000 dollars and a powerhouse for 1500.

    If you need to spend less you can still get pretty good performance from a 7-800 dollar system.
