Ok, everything is ordered and on the way!!

The q9450 was backordered EVERYWHERE for up to 2 months, but I got a hold of one on e bay I have already heard people clocking it past 4.0 ghz with ease! With shipping and tax it came to almost 400.

I ordered the evga 790i mobo and the ddr3 ocz reaper ram from zipzoomfly. Both came to about 540.

Hopefully my Coolermaster cpu water cooler socket will fit on my motherboard, and if it doesnt then I will either buy a new socket or a new cooler all together.

I will let you know the benchmarks with this cpu vs the amd cpu and we can get a good comparison of how much the CPU/mobo/ram come into play vs my old setup with the same GPU. I will upgrade my vid cards soon too....tri sli anyone? mmm.

    Thx for everyone's input!

9800gtx users have reported little or no problems....sounds like you need to RMA. That shit is a lemon!

Ok! so we are finally done putting everything together.
    Here are the results.
We got a new King in town.
We over clocked it to 3.8 stable. Running on air at 42C using zalman 9700.
Soon to be water cooled which will go into 4.....
Let the ss speak for themselves.
