Thread: Registry Booster

I tend to shy away from any product with the word booster. However, I don't know that product.

The two (free) ones I use:

CCleaner

RegSeeker

Why pay money when you can get the same thing for free? Any one program will never capture all the registry errors anyway, and chances are good it won't do anything other than give you peace of mind, because the registry is fairly innocuous in terms of problems.

If you want to clean up your registry, format your computer and start over.

Be vary careful with registry cleaners and registry defraggers. Make sure you do full backups of your registry before you use any tools like that and pay close attention to what they are doing while "cleaning" your registry. These programs do very little to increase system performance.
