You need a board bigdog? I think I have a PCI-E 939 board lying around somewhere.

aint nothing wrong with 8000 3dMarks. And given my unlocked 939 FX-60 is just begging to move on up.....I'm fine where I'm at.

believe the hype and adopt platforms that don't use the bandwidth's they were designed for (cough PCI-ex, DDR3, etc). I'll keep it real, and keep my money.

then I'd have to trash my brand new 3850 AGP.....why would I do that?

hey now, don't accuse me of being an early adopter.

I still rock a single core CPU on an Nforce4. And the only reason I got that was because my Nforce3 AGP board died a premature death. Currently your AGP rig beats me in 3dMark, but I have a new video card on the way from NewEgg IF it ever finds my APO addy.

See this is the problem I didn't want to face.. I was going to get the same g-card as bigdog before I decided to go pci x16.

I can't wait for my new mobo and g-card.... I wonder if I can pass 8000 marks on 3dmark06. Right now my score is at 5077 with my current setup w/ AGP on the X1950PRO 512mb. I bought faster RAM, getting the ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo, and getting the 8800GT 512mb. *crosses fingers*
