8800 GT Dual slot edition 1024MB

I got this card in yesterday and I am very impressed.... @ stock settings 600mhz/1500mhz and default on Crysis it delivered 55-80 FPS out of the box. I will put it through its paces over the next couple of weeks and post results. It is a large card...would be a problem for some tighter cases. I had to use the 90* sata cable to clear the card for the slot I chose to put it in but otherwise no fitment issues for me.This card replaced the X850 that I was using.

My system:

Coolermaster Mystique Case
Asus M2M32 SLI deluxe Wifi MOBO
AMD X2 6000+ 3.0ghz
2GB Patriot PC6400 800mhz 4-4-4-12
1 36GB Raptor (for the OS)
1 250 GB WD Caviar for the rest
650W modular power supply.
XP 32bit

Sweet. I'm sure its not as loud as the regular 8800's. What settings and resolution on Crysis?

I will have to look...They were default...but I guess that may vary by computer? I will provide some better numbers after I get home.

It spat out 10541 box stock.... I am not a tweaker so I havent OCed anything yet. I probably can shut down some background stuff and do better...but that was by test with the way the machine was sitting.

Its one video card with 1 GB DDR3 memory. Dual Slot.

so its 1 card that takes 2 slots? I can see how that makes sense, being 1 gig and all.

It is a vanilla 8800gt with 1gig on ram and a fun length cooler/fan setup....it should OC well due to the increased cooling capacity....but I am no tweaker...that is the plan tho.
