Thread: New headset

well im tired of people only being able to hear me sometimes, has become a real pain in the ass. gonna get a new headset, any1 have any suggestions on something absolutely guaranteed to work 100% of the time? and im not going with anymore plantronics

well for $50 bucks, I personally use the platronics headset from bestbuy. but i first bought the $80 set that came with the usb connection. it makes it digital. I love it!

I have the Sennheiser PC150 headset and love it. Lightweight, comfortable, great sound. It's not USB.

sigmatel audio sound (idk anything about sound cards thats the only semi useful info i could find) didnt know they made 5.1 headset, stereo would be fine, most important thing is the mic.

i do have glasses, i also do have contacts

ill look around at what the others linked ill pick something up on the way home from work tomorrow if its at best buy or order online.

im also willing to go up to 100 TOPS but preferably lower

oh also the longer the cable the better (wireless?)

I love mine like a fat kid loves cake.
For the $30 a set will run you these days, you cannot beat them for audio quality, the mic quality is hard to beat at any price, and they have a long cord. Comfort is subjective, of course. I will add that I wore mine with glasses for 20 hours straight at a LAN party once.

if there is no other suggestions by when i get home ill pick up that PC151, seems pretty good.

but im driving through a hurricane here so who knows how long it will take me to get home :8

and the order has been placed, next day deliver is like $50!! i decided to go the extra yard (not mile) and go for 2 day delivery instead.
