    Re: shader problems

I dont know where it is but this is what you do for PR:

    1. Go to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\
    2. Go into the BF2 Folder,
    3. Copy shaders_client.zip to the mods folder (previous)
    4. Go to the PR folder and copy shaders_client.zip to the BF2 folder.
    5. Every time you switch games swith shaders. 185kb is PR 218 or 219 is BF2.

    Hope that helps!

Sgtamato make sure your target line on your PR shortcut is looking in the right place.

    C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

    Re: shader problems

Ok While Roadhog is right on it is a little complicated to understand I will translate a little clearer.

Start by finding you Battlefield 2 folder, next go into it and find the mods folder. In mods first go into the BF2 mod back_up the shaders_client.zip 219kb as you will need it to play regular BF2.
The next step it to go into the PR mod folder and copy (Do not move!) the shaders_client.zip 185kb there and paste it into the BF2 mod folder. Pr should then have no problems with the shader mismatch but you must switch the shaders_client.zip files back if you with to play regular Battlefield 2 or you will be kicked for modified content.

I would check your target line first to make sure it is correct before you do what Salt and road have suggested.

    Re: shader problems

I found a script that switches them for me. I have 2 icons on my desktop, and I have to click the one for the game I want to play to load the correct shaders before I launch the appropriate game. Sucks, but at least I can play again.
