    Now, I am, OBVIOUSLY, NOT having internet connection issues, as I am here posting this after I received this message three times in a row.

    I, also, have not made ANY changes since I played last night, and singleplayer today.

    So, I put it to all you experts out there, wtf is this fuckin bullshit?!?

    I've been geetting the same exact problem for the past couple of months now.

    This is what everyone will tell you:

    1. Check your firewalls
    2. Update punkbuster
    3. Update Pb manually.
    4. Delete the pb folder and reinstall using pbsvc.exe and you should be good to go.

    Everytime I want to start BF2 I have to do step #4. EVERYTIME. Because if I do that and go in, play for a while, log out, shutdown the computer, then log back in, I get kicked for the same asshole error. I never changed anything. I just started getting that error out of the fuckin blue.

    Ok, Civil, next question, I was JUST playing BF2 not eight hours ago, and I didn't have this issue. So, if I am employing the SAME computer, the SAME game instance and the SAME internet connection....why should this be happening at all? I mean, I DO have a fuckin BADASS BIGDOG BOX, and this has NOT happened AT ALL since I've had it...

    Follow that link to d/l Pbsvc.exe. This program lets you completely uninstall pb and then reinstall it. I'm running XP. If you're running vista I suggest you follow the steps that Civilwarts posted up and see if it works.

    My problem is, Punkbuster B magically disappears from the Services running on Windows, so I'm forced to reinstall the bastard everytime I restart my pc.

    damn, bell. this shit happens all the time. if the server updates it's PB files to a later version than what's on your pc, you're fucked.

    and this has been around since... well, before me. i'm shocked that of all the people i see in the forums, that YOU haven't seen this yet.
