Nvidia's newest Driver 178.13

Hey all, I just recently upgraded to this and have been experiencing issues ranging from bsod to strange patterns overlaying my game ONLY in 2142, has anyone else experienced similiar behaviour on an nvidia setup and if so been able to avoid it w/o having to reinstall things?

I get some weird black static kinda stuff, now im used to it. this happened after i installed my new vid card. tried all drivers tried reinstalling 2142, nothing helped. its like some minor artifacts.

I know the new drivers enable the physics accelerator try disabling it, that MIGHT help.

What OS and card are you running? Im running the same drivers with 32 Bit XP and a 9600 GT with no problems.

I've had similar problems with my 8800 GTS 320 card on Vista 64 drivers. It might work fine in one game, but it'll periodically crash another. I've tried numerous drivers (unless there is a new one like within the past week or so) and nothing. I've even gone to 3rd party drivers and those don't seem to be helping anymore now either.

using xp 32bit and an 8800 gtx card, suspicious I suppose that it only happens with 2142, but what are you going to do? I'm going to have to revert to an older driver version or something I guess *scratches head* and I did try turning off the physc accelleration, that stopped the bsod but not the weird overlay

I have streaks on my monitor now that I installed the new drivers, there bugging me in game and out, I play BF2.

streaks pretty closely described what I got, I had to uninstall the new drivers and go back to the old ones... which oddly enough leaves me with mouse issues problems now... sigh
