    which one??

alright you guys. as most of you know i have been having computer problems and i have decided to buy a new comp. however, i only have $490 to spend and i want a lil money extra. i have narrowed it down to 3 comps. TTP... the choice is yours. What comp should i get

    Choice #1- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218009475974

    Choice #2 (CLICK REVIEW & CONTINUE)- http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...=DDCWDA1&s=dhs

    Choice #3 (CLICK REVIEW & CONTINUE)- http://configure.us.dell.com/dellsto...=DDCWOA2&s=dhs

i know they arent the best of comps, but thats all i can afford. i will be getting my job soon since i just turned 16 and these are my 3 choices. all of them are just the desktops because i already have a 22" NEC monitor. Pleeeeeeeeease post you opinion on which i should get. I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S.--- As of right now, im in the price range of $0-$380 to spen on the comp. If any of you have an other comp suggestions, please post the URL and i will check it out. thanx a bunch!!! :9

    Your TTPmate,

As no one else has mentioned anything I'm going to start with this question do you absolutely have to buy one NOW? We've all been there on a budget but just a little more say $600 vs $490 would enable you to probably end up with a dual core processor for example http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/c...r.aspx?mid=135 that configuration at just a bit more then you were looking to spend would give you vastly more power for playing games, and lets be honest, this is about playing video games right? *grin* Or Starting here for a bit less at $490 base price in the configurator http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/c...r.aspx?mid=119 and the benefit of this place (vs best buy or dell) is that you'll be able to customize your pc a bit later on if you're of a mind to do so.... ask around and see how easy that is with a dell or an hp...heh

    Re: which one??

the only problem with both of the comp (which are fuckin awesome btw) is that i need some leftover cash for driving school that my parents are making me pay for (which is $350). everybody is telling me "Fuck driving school!!" but i need it to get my licenses in 6 months. so the 3 choices i started off with are my final choices unless someone finds a comp under or around the sam price and better. in the future i will upgrade all the crap when i get my job. but for now, i just need a comp that will run it, nothing amazing until then.

so if you read this, can you tell me what comp you think i should get.

    thanx for posting too :9

Think of it this way, the dells and the hp, etc you can't really upgrade like the stuff from ibuypower or building your own from that matter... man you dont' want to buy one and have to get another a few months later.... do the I buy power one at least you'll have a seperate video card which is one of the things that can always be changed later yes?

What's the computer for? If for gaming, I don't think any of them are going to cut it. The Dells probably wont have power for a video card later since the only two offerings are either integrated or don't require a separate power connection.

Just keep saving and build one. You won't regret it.

THE RIGHT ANSWER... I know it hurts, but have patience and you will be much happier in the end!!! I would save until I could build a good cpu that would last at least a year... However, that's just my opinion... Think of it this way... This is the best time to learn about cpu's... Do some research and figure out what components do what and why... Then in a couple of months when you have it all figured out, you will get your driver's license and will want to go out partying!!!! Later, you will get tired of partying and will get back to gaming... By then you should have enough money to build yourself a nice cpu... Just remember to save all the cash you can!!!

    Good luck!
