I just built my new system, I went with the i7 920 and intel board and had to get diffrent mem because the one i chose up there isnt tri channel (you would think that it says ddr3 it would be tri but noooooo they have to make it more complicated, but i got patriot viper series ddr3 6gb) i have to tell you it went by alot easier then I remeber, for one i didnt have to mess with dip switches and set irq's, everything is sata so it was a breeze. I am going to do a bench mark thingy to see where it stands (oh and i got the 64bit version of vista, hopefully i am not shooting myself in the foot by getting vista), I will post results.
results 13000 on the 3dmark06 bench, as for the vid card i got the 9800gt with 1gb mem, i think i can do better on the results but will have to tweak here and there,
AND THE GAMES LOOK SWEEET
