Headset not very loud.
I got a new headset for X-mas, just because I needed a new one, but my new one isn't nearly as loud as my other one.
This is the one I got for X-mas:

This is my old one:

The new one has surrond sound speakers, and it should be, I'm pretty sure, be able to be louder then this.
It didn't come with a driver, the volume on all the bars are maxed out,(physical and in the computer settings.
Any clue why my old headset has louder sound?
This headset, the new one, gives A LOT less sound, not like a little amount. Is it because maybe my motherboards sound can't support it? I'm not sure, I don't have a sound card.
Thanks guys.Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."

Re: Headset not very loud.
I have the Turtlebeach HPA2 and it is a good headset. One thing with it though is it took some adjusting to get the surround settings perfected and if you accidentally plug them in wrong to your audio card the sound will be low. I did this once as I use the splitter to run speakers and headsets with having to unplug and plug in one each time and cross wired the plugs. It took me a good 15 minutes to realize my blunder.
Does the x-52 have a "control box" to adjust the rear, front, and sub speakers?

It does have a control box, but everything on it is maxed out.  I know I have my plugs in right, but there is 4 knobs on the control box.  ONLY the front knob does anything at all.  The other knobs don't do a single thing.
I'm still thinking it's my motherboard, because I don't have a sound card.
EDIT:
I may have to test it out again, because, apparently, I had the headset on the wrong ears...
