New computer for a friend.

One of me friends wants to get a real computer, not some shitty Acer laptop.

Anyway, I still have no idea what parts are good, bad, in between, all that stuff. So I need some help figuring out what parts to get.

A budget up too $1,700, although a bit less. Windows Vista, I think he wants, 8 gig's of memory he wants. Basicly just wants to be able to play games to a good extent.

I wish i could by this but those laptops in my country are to expensive

This lap top is 1400 $ in US so it is about i thing 1000 euros ,but in my town this lap top is about 1800 euros. Hardware in my country is so god dam expensive! I have Asus lap top and i pay for that 1200 euros,then i was google it and i so that the same lap top in US cost about 600 $ and that is i thing 400 euros

well so far i really dont like laptops
computers suit me way more
btw i already have a laptop i think i just need to find one more thing from newegg.com on my list for my computer and i can buy exactly what i want i just need a processor.

Gaming laptops are a waste of money in my opinion, get a desktop if you want to game.

Buy the parts from newegg and put it together, or get a shop to put the parts together for you (that's what I did.)

You'll get MUCH better results.
