Video editing, for one. I bought a WDC Black 1TB recently for $120... they up their normal warranty to 5 years on that drive which makes me happy. May buy another one soon.

I've got two seagate freeagent desk's (1.5 and 1.0 TB). Both of them randomly lock. Power cycling them brings them right back. Of course their firmware update checker thing doesn't tell me the model of the drive inside them to know for certain if the firmware is what's needed for my drives. Sigh.
