    False.
I've had a few older games crash on me. Games that played fine on XP.

Like what? I can get any old game to work in a DosBOX. OR you can run it in compatibility mode with XP and your golden.

    Re: Back to XP

I had issues with the first Rainbow six. (I know, I was bored ) It would randomly crash to the desktop. Granted, I never cared enough about it to want to fix it. So it probably coulda been fixed by backwards compatibility.

    this is a good site.

Anyway I'm going back to XP and I need something new. I honestly don't know what though.

So vista needs better hardware to do better than XP. That makes sense.

    Re: Back to XP

Can you post the model # of your motherboard so we can see what chipset you have and what it supports, and the power rating of your power supply? I assume your existing video card is PCI-E.
Since you did not answer this question I assume you changed your mind.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize I'd missed it.

I think that is a link to what it is.
    A eMachines W3506 MOTHERBOARD

I'll have to find my power-supply info a bit later unless you find it before I return here.

My video card is ATI Radeon HD 2400 (currently overclocked.)
