    Question on my Graphics card

I currently have a ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO, running with a Vista on a computer marked as XPS 420.
Just wondering, what games can I play without having serious issues. I know for a fact I can play Battlefield 2 smoothly, but everything else above that is an enigma to me.

I have the same thing. You need to try to overclock it to get much more than 30 frames. You will be getting shitty frames in the game and your drivers WILL fail often in BF and BF2142. Disable all of your cool Vista shit now, you need the extra space.

EDIT: Actually looking at the XPS 420 it seems as though you won't be too laggy, but watch out because you won't be getting sexy amounts of frames from a 2400.

    Run everything on recommended settings.

    No eye candy for you.

He can overclock the card up to about 545GHz safely, as long as it's kept cool enough. DL Catalyst control center for an easy way to do it.

I don't know which version of Vista you'll have so do it yourself, mate.

Even if he overclocks the GPU his gains will be small. Most FPS gains are from CPU OC.

HD 2400 pro is on the low end just like a 8600gt.

Sure it will run the game but with no AA of AF.

I run the same card he does. There are other programs to sue as well.

Get Advanced system care, shoot me a PM and I'll purchase a copy for you.  :1

Gamebooster is also an excellent program.
