some things seem slightly faster but it may be my imagination... did get a memory chunks error in 2142 that I've never seen before (but it's not happened since so that was likely just a one time thing as I hadn't restarted but once since doing the install)

Did you actually get it from Windows Update? I don't see it on there and think I have to download it manually from somewhere else... I read it wouldn't be on Windows Update for a few weeks.

Yep. I got mine straight from Windows Update.

Did you click on the little "check for updates" refresh dealybobber in the upper left column?

Its not going show up for a few weeks per what Microsoft site says. I provided the download links from Microsoft, use them!

Haha yeh I saw that thanks, and I am glad somebody else saw that quote by Microsoft. Just wondering why apparently some users ARE seeing it on MS Update. I'm not home right now so can't toy with it but will try more tonight.

I've got Vista 32 currently. That may be why. 64-bit seems to lag behind on Service Pack updates on Windows Update.
